Vladimir Tokarev, Haran Yaffeh and Asael Lubotzky are heroes of the 2nd Lebanon War, who overcame horrific injuries to once again walk and live meaningful lives.

This coming Friday, they are forming a special elite unit of marathon participants, the Soldiers for Thank Israeli Soldiers'  who will be running and handbiking the Tel Aviv Marathon together with runner Lt. Ya'akov Selavan of the IDF Tank Unit and rollerblader Aba Claman, the founder of Thank Israeli Soldiers.

Their mission is simple:  To give Passover packages to 184 soldiers and their families.

Why? Because we have requests for 360 soldiers whose families need help with even the most basic Passover supplies in order to have a Seder and holiday.

Our team members understand firsthand the importance of caring and supporting soldiers. The $100 food packages they are running for contain Matza, grape juice, charoset, oil and all the staples neccesary for the families to have a kosher Passover week.

Last week, our Jerusalem Marathon team, which included Ya'akov Selavan and Thank Israeli Soldiers' Pamela Claman and Mimi Jankovits, successfully raised $17,600 for 176 Passover Packages.*  Our Tel Aviv Team of Heroes wants to raise $18,400 to make sure that every soldier and his family on our list receives what they need for Passover.

Please sponsor the Soldiers for Soldiers Tel Aviv Marathon so that each of their 92 combined kilometers raises $200, which is two packages per kilometer.  (Donations are tax-deductible in the United States.*)

Each dollar you contribute to sponsor these soldiers will feed needy soldiers and their families.  Together, we will be giving the holiday of freedom to the people who defend our freedom everyday.

Thank you for your ongoing friendship and support.  May this be a Passover of true freedom and peace for you and your family.
